Memorizing the Qur’an is one of the most noble acts of worship and a lifelong gift for the believer. A Hāfiẓ is someone who has memorized the Qur’an and can recite it from memory, preserving the words of Allah with care and responsibility.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that the one who recites and memorizes the Qur’an is in a special rank, and that even the student who struggles while memorizing receives a double reward.
At Al-Bayaan Academy, our Hifdh program is designed to help students memorize with correct foundations, consistent structure, and strong revision habits.
Hifdh al-Qur’an at Al-Bayaan Academy
Our program prepares students to read and memorize the Qur’an with proper guidance and a clear learning methodology. The focus is not only on memorizing new portions, but on building a stable memorization that lasts.

Requirements for Hifdh
Important clarification section (very important for parents):
Before starting Qur’an memorization, students must be able to read Arabic independently and write reasonably.
Being able to read Arabic is a requirement for enrolling in the Hifdh al-Qur’an program for both adults and children. Without this foundation, independent memorization is not possible.
If You Cannot Read Yet
We understand that not all students—whether adults or children—have the necessary reading level at the beginning.
For this reason, Al-Bayaan Academy offers preparatory reading programs to help students build the skills they need before starting memorization. Our belief is simple: everyone has a chance to learn to read the Qur’an independently, and students can begin with reading-focused programs until they are fully prepared.
